POLLEN DISTRIBUTION TECHNOLOGY

Originally designed with crops requiring supplemental pollination in mind, The ETD Cerinthus™ is an electrically powered, automated pollen distribution system ready for agricultural application where natural pollination is either inefficient or impossible. With the Cerinthus™ both local and industrial scale growers can afford to make crop production faster and more effective.

Simply fill the Cerinthus™ with a sufficient quantity of pollen and the stirring and feeding mechanism will encourage uniform dispersal in what effectively becomes an aerosolized field of pollen.

One of the primary features that increases productivity when using the Cerinthus™ is it’s power source. The Cerinthus™ is a lightweight unit specifically designed to connect directly to the electrical supply of the vehicle on which it is mounted. This eliminates refueling a potentially gasoline powered system and ensures maximum utility while providing consistent pollen distribution.

 

CERINTHUS™ FEATURES:

  • Ergonomic handles and convenient mounting points on the exterior structure.
  • Removable plenum, feed auger, and stirrer for rapid disassembly and cleaning. 
  • Weighs less than 40 pounds.
  • Variable feed rate.
  • Distributes up to 33 grams of pollen per minute.
  • Internal stirrer mechanism eliminates caking and waste.
